Nordic Network for Women in Physics 2006

Welcome to the Second Workshop of the Nordic Network for Women in Physics! The meeting took take place in Lund, Sweden, November 29-30 2006. The Network is a collaborative forum for the Nordic initiatives on Women in Physics, and it was created to exchange information and knowledge among and about women physicists.

The Objectives of NWIP2006 are:

To increase the visibility of women working in various fields of physics in the Nordic Countries
To facilitate international networking by developing contacts with women in physics organizations around the world.
To increase the number of women studying physics and working in the field of physics research by identifying gender barriers in the career paths of women in physics and by working towards removing such barriers.
