Scheduled Maintenance
Upgrade of machines 2017
Machines to upgrade: 30
Reasons: Main reasons is to avoid security holes and update libraries. Libraries not present in the distribution will be provided with a new mechanism implemented with success by Lunarc. It will be in a test state during 2017.

Target distribution
* Ubuntu 16.04 will be supported until 2021 and is my preference. There will be no more
machine update until that time.
* OpenSuSE Leap can be installed upon request. Its release cycle and support is unclear, therefore I am not supporting it anymore.
