This match showed once more, that the defence is the most weak point of Zenit. Scoring a goal in 7th minute (by Zubko), hosts decreased activity and soon they was punished by Baltica's forward Silin. He threw the ball over Zenit's keaper Prikhodko who unsuccessfully leaved his goal.In the second half there was predominance of Zenit, and in 72th minute after a foul against Zubko referee appointed a penalty. It was performed by Kulick (he performed penalty 8 times in Premier league and suceeded in all of them - this is second result in history of Russian championships).
But at the end of the match fans of Zenit have been gotten to shock, when in Zenit's penaty area two defenders, Bokov and Bystrov, allowed Baltica's forward Bulatov to receive the ball and to "shoot down" Prikhodko. If was fifth minute, added by the referee to the second half. Total score - 2:2.
After the second goal Baltica's players ritually danced beside field border, waving the corner flag teared off from it's staff. And Zenit's players leaved field with lowered heads. These facts demonstrate who got 1 point and who lost 2 points in this game.

The game Spartak - Lada was boring enough. Probably Spartak players thought they had won the game before it began... But Lada looked as quite a good team. They had some scoring chances but not very good. And Spartak woke up only in the middle of the second half. The best players were Nikiforov, Tsymbalar and Gorlukovich. Spartak attacked a lot but they seemed to be about another tie game. Ten minutes before the end Tikhonov took over a defender in the penalty area and suddenly passed to Alenichev, he ran through the box to the goal-line, the goalie went to challenge Alenichev and Alenichev got the pass to Shirko. In fact Alenichev just squared the ball and Shirko was the first who touched the ball and tapped it in. But the Tikhonov's and Alenichev's combination was beautiful.
