Course plan: Three 2-hour lectures a week.
In each 2-hour lecture, one chapter of the book is
covered. In addition, there will be two lectures on astroparticle
physics. There will be a few weekly exercises which should be handed
over, and which give part of the total points. Exercises will be
explained in three problem-solution sessions. There will also be
a few presentations about current research in high-energy physics
(not included in the exam). LU students (FYS225) should in addition
do invidual project work on a selected topic. The project will
be presented orally (student seminar) (ca. 20 min each).
