How can I read it in Russian and what are KOI8 fonts?
According to Russian official standards, cyrillic letters in all computing applications should be written in the 8-bit coding nicknamed "KOI8". In order to be able to read it, one have first to fetch appropriate fonts ( from Russia or from US) and then to make them known to your browser (look here again for help).

Are there newsgropus or mailing lists for Russian Football?
Almost 90% of information on this server comes from the Russian Soccer Mailing List maintaining by Sergey Ukladov. Thanks to him, all Russian football fans abroad are able to get the very fresh news from Russian grounds.
To subscribe to the Russian Soccer mailing list or to send a greetings to Sergey Ukladov, write to yook@glas.apc.org
Russian (KOI8 coding) newsgroups fido7.ru.sport.football and fido7.sport.football are accessible trough the NNTP server news1.demos.su.
Could You please provide any information about football in other former-USSR countries ? And about ice-hockey ?
Oh, guys, I'm busy enough with Russian football stuff here, please find somebody else to deal with ice-hockey in Ukraine !
Who? How? Why?
If you really want to know who I am, look HERE. I'm maintaining this page voluntarily and amatively, as it was written somewere, "by fan for fans". All the computer equipment (HP-UX) I'm using courtesy of the Elementary Particle Physics Department of the Lund University, Sweden. The "Russian Football" Homepage was started on March 1995, not because I wanted to spend all my leisure time typing all this stuff, but just because nobody else wanted to do it either. Enjoy !
