Simulations

Some features and differences between the measures defined in equations (3.20) - (3.23) are addressed in various scenarios described below. The figures shown here are based on simulations, where 1 000 particles are randomly distributed in azimuth for each event. Acceptance is based solely on geometry, and since detection is independent of polar angle, $ p_a$=1 at $ \Delta\varphi$=360. The particles are assigned a charge of +1 or -1 with probabilities based on some different criteria.
