Overview of IT services

Here's a quick overview of IT services at Lund University.

Main IT services are provided by LDC (Lunds DataCentral). These services can be accessed using a LUCAT account.

Unfortunately the LU/LDC knowledge base platform (ServiceNow) is, in my personal opinion, unable to provide a nice, unique centralized way of accessing information. Below I try to summarize useful links, but they keep changing all the time. I apologize if they are incorrect.

Some IT services are maintained by the Department of Physics. These can be accessed using a LUCAS account. The LUCAS account username is usually the same as the LUCAT account, while the password for the LUCAS account differs from the LUCAT account.

• Cloud backup OwnCloud
  • Similar to dropbox. Contact Florido for an account and details. If you have a laptop from the division, an account will be created for you. If you don't know what this is, please contact me ASAP.
• Indico server
