FASTBUS card

 

The FASTBUS card is named LURFB ( Lund University Risc FastBus). The logic of the LURFB card is shown in figure 2. It is logically divided into three parts:

The peak finder and FADC parts, are separate for each VSAT module.

The peak finder is used to find a peak in the analog sum of the FAD signals, the Flash ADC system gives the shape of the sum as digital values in the data stream. The CPU performs formatting of the data, writing it into the FEB ( Front End Buffer), monitors and controls the system.
